Every morning the weather forecast is checked for the particular area the customer is based in. This is recorded and available for customers to check why we did or didn’t grit their site.

We then refer to the criteria laid down in agreement with the client, this may be to grit their site at 0 degrees or increasingly it may 0 degrees for November, December and March and +1 degree for January and February.

 It may be the site needs gritting 5 days a week or 7, it might be a low usage site and only need doing every other night in dry weather.  All this is agreed in advance with the customer so that he doesn’t have to worry about getting things organised outside of his normal working hours.

Likewise if snow is forecast we would aim to grit your site before it the snow falls and afterwards and snow plough if necessary.

The service is normally charged per site per visit so you only pay for what you get.
